A new beginning, a new season. A time for regrowth, rebirth and re-connection.

Spring has begun in many parts of the world, with a climb out of the winter slumber.

What better time for the Waking Waves calendar to resurface, than from a much needed winter break. It might not show its face every month this year…but when it does, it will be full of life!

The Spring lifecycle is a reminder to:

  • Focus on things that matter - nourishing health and wellbeing.

  • Be aware of what needs our attention - life habits, work or house plans.

  • Connect with things that make us happy - friends, family, nature, passions or pastimes.

And if winter has left you left you low in energy or heavy in mood, a change of season gives us a chance to begin again.

March is full of special days for reflection, connection and celebration too - staring with World Book Day on 2nd March, changing lives through the love of reading. Followed a week later by International Women’s Day on 8th March, imagining a gender equal world and a call to #EmbraceEquity. Happily landing on the same day - 20th March - we have Spring Equinox and the UN International Day of Happiness with a message of β€œBe Mindful, Be Grateful, Be Kind.” And finally the third National Day of Reflection on March 23rd, to remember loved ones, and to connect with those, who need our support.
