The Wheel of Mindfulness
One of the hardest things to grasp about Mindfulness, but also for me the most liberating, is that we always begin again.
- No matter how many books we read.
- No matter how many times we practice.
- No matter how ‘mindful’ we are in life.
Each day is a new beginning.
Each challenge, opportunity, difficulty or conversation, gives us a chance to start fresh.
To be open, curious and occasionally a little awe-inspired by what’s in front of us.
This is bringing your Beginner’s Mind.
Seeing the world as if through the eyes of a child.
And it was in this spirit that I took a look at something old - a word wheel - with fresh eyes.
And from 1 mindful attitude, created 88 more reasons to wonder about Mindfulness.
And the best thing about a wheel?
It has no beginning or ending. You’re wherever you need to be on your journey. Just as close to the centre, wherever you begin. Just as close to now.
